DHL eCommerce, a German logistics company, plans to invest Rs 250 million to improve operations in India by 2030.
The budget is set aside for raising the number of electric delivery vehicles to 1,000. This is also set to increase the capacity of the fleet of aircraft by 35 per cent.
Furthermore, the project calls for the construction of thirty new facilities nationwide, the launch of two new major hubs, and the investment of Rs 100 million in digitalisation. This is a component of DHL’s bigger Rs 500 million investment strategy for India.

The investment will be shared among various business units, one of which will be Blue Dart. Currently, the company has ten aircraft in its fleet owing to the addition of two more Boeing 737s. Widebody planes that use less fuel will also be introduced.
In order to grow and improve its skills in specific sectors with competent management and people, the corporation is also considering buying Indian logistics companies.
