EMotorad, India’s prominent electric cycle manufacturer endorsed by cricket icon MS Dhoni, has revealed considerable progress made in the creation of the largest interconnected e-cycle gigafactory.
This is the claim which was first made about four weeks ago and the project is almost at the completion stage as commissioning is expected shortly with full-scale operations to start shortly.
In covering 240,000 sq ft in Phase 1, this gigafactory is planned to anchor Pedalvalley to gear up a global need for environmentally friendly electric cycles. Sweeping across manufacturing design as well as assembly, it asserts an overall efficacy in manufacturing processes and product quality.
Compared to the previous vacant plot, the site has developed some accomplished roofing signifying more condensed construction. Rajib Gagopadhyay, EMotorad’s Managing Director and Founder has emphasised the company’s commitment to speed and efficiency, aiming to meet the evolving global demand promptly.
On the human capital growth and stakeholders part, apart from product development, the company has also ensured that it has employed a skilled workforce and has interacted with the community in the best way possible. With gigafactory, hundreds of jobs are expected to be created especially for training and skillful employment for the people in the area.
Besides direct economic impact, it supports the generation of a capable workforce for creating a new frontier in the production of electric cycle manufacturing.
