Vertiv has announced that Scott Armul will become Executive Vice President of global portfolio and business units starting January 1, 2025. In this new role, Armul will report to CEO Giordano (Gio) Albertazzi and focus on driving Vertiv’s growth strategy to meet the changing needs of the digital economy. He will oversee areas like engineering research, thermal management, power management, IT systems, infrastructure, and global services.
As part of these changes, Stephen Liang, the current Chief Technology Officer (CTO), will focus more on technology vision and strategy. Together, Armul and Liang will guide Vertiv’s future technological developments.
Albertazzi expressed confidence in Armul’s leadership, highlighting his strong industry knowledge and customer relationships. Armul, who has been with Vertiv since 2009, has held several important roles, including Vice President of global strategic accounts, where he helped drive business growth. Armul is excited to continue improving Vertiv’s solutions and supporting the company’s growth in this rapidly evolving industry.
