In a major move to boost its manufacturing strength, V-Guard is launching three new factories in 2025: a kitchen appliance facility in Vapi, a battery plant in Hyderabad, and a fan production unit also in Hyderabad. This expansion is part of the company’s plan to ramp up its in-house production, which now accounts for over 65 per cent of its products.

Strengthening in-house production

The new facilities reflect V-Guard’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for its products. The Vapi and Hyderabad battery plants are already operational, with the fan unit in Medchal set to feature a sprawling 300,000 sq ft production space.

The Hyderabad battery plant, strategically located near the airport, will produce 360,000 inverter batteries annually, further supporting India’s “Make in India” initiative. V-Guard is also exploring advanced battery technologies through its partnership with the start-up Gegadyne Energy.

Innovating for the future

Beyond manufacturing, V-Guard is investing in future-focused solutions with its new Innovation Campus in Kochi. The Phase-I launch includes an R&D Centre, a Reliability Lab, a Product Design Studio, and a Training Centre. These will support the company in research and innovation.

This strategic move showcases V-Guard’s vision of creating sustainable, cutting-edge products while preparing for the demands of tomorrow’s market.
