The new CPP film line in Russia enhances UFlex’s commitment to customer satisfaction.

UFlex marks a significant step forward in its global expansion and innovation journey. Effective March 31, 2024, the company has initiated commercial production of poly-condensed polyester chips at its manufacturing facility in Panipat, India. Additionally, the company, through its subsidiary Flex Films Rus LLC, announces the launch of a 6.5-metre-wide Cast Polypropylene (CPP) Film Line in Russia, boasting an annual capacity of 18,000 metric tonnes.

The polyester chip plant in Panipat boasts an impressive capacity of 168,000 metric tonnes per year, reinforcing UFlex’s commitment to vertical integration. The facility, which will primarily produce essential raw materials for BOPET packaging films, will serve both internal production needs and those of third-party customers, enhancing India’s packaging film industry.

Meanwhile, the CPP packaging film line in Russia will complement existing capacities, including a BOPET film line and a plasma-enhanced metallizer. Ashok Chaturvedi, Chairman and Managing Director of UFlex Ltd, expressed enthusiasm about these developments, emphasising the company’s dedication to meeting customer demands for reliability, speed, and quality. Leveraging advanced technology and sustainable practices, UFlex aims to deliver superior products and solutions that cater to the evolving needs of the packaging market.
