Terra Charge has launched a state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) charging hub in Ghaziabad. It features 70 slow chargers of 3.3 kW and one fast DC charger of 60 kW, all powered by advanced CCS Type 2 technology.Â
It is located at Village Morta along the Delhi Meerut Highway, this new public charging station is already operational and caters to both public and commercial fleets.
The company has invested Rs 5 crore in this initiative, aiming to enhance access to advanced Japanese charging technology while expanding its infrastructure in India.
Terra Charge’s CEO, Akihiro Ueda, highlighted the hub as one of the largest public EV charging stations in India, designed to meet regional charging needs and facilitate large-scale EV adoption. The facility offers user-friendly features and 24/7 customer support, ensuring a safe and convenient experience for EV users.
The hub can accommodate up to 72 EVs simultaneously, and all 71 chargers are compatible with various electric vehicle categories, including E2W, E3W, and E4W.
With this launch, Terra Charge operates 50 active stations and over 400 charging points in India, focusing on strategic partnerships to further bolster the growing EV market, projected to reach $48.6 billion by 2030.
