Tata Technologies and Telechips collaborate for next-gen SDV innovation

Tata Technologies and Telechips have partnered to develop innovative solutions for next-generation software-defined vehicles (SDVs). This strategic partnership which is announced at CES 2025, aims to address key challenges faced by automakers, such as software-hardware integration, faster time-to-market, and enhanced vehicle safety and connectivity.

Driving innovation for the future of mobility

The collaboration will focus on co-developing cutting-edge technologies for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), automotive cockpit domain controllers, and central and zonal gateway controllers. Tata Technologies, with its expertise in automotive software engineering, will combine its capabilities with Telechips’ advanced semiconductor solutions. These solutions include AI Vision ADAS Processors and Network Gateway Processors. 

Together, they aim to redefine the automotive landscape by enabling seamless integration of software and hardware for connected, autonomous, and electric vehicles.

Jang-Kyu Lee, CEO of Telechips, added, “This partnership will reshape the automotive semiconductor landscape, driving smarter, safer, and more connected mobility solutions.”

The partnership prioritises scalable software frameworks and AI-driven advancements to enhance situational awareness, real-time updates, and decision-making for autonomous platforms. It also leverages advanced SoCs to boost vehicle communication efficiency, aligning with the global push for greener transportation.
