Tata Motors has introduced the new Ace EV 1000, featuring an increased rated payload of 1 tonne and a certified range of 161 km on a single charge.
Equipped with an advanced battery management system, Fleet Edge telematics system, and robust aggregates for optimal uptime, the Ace EV stands out for its reliability and efficiency. Leveraging the capabilities of the Tata UniEVerse and collaborating with relevant Tata Group companies, Tata Motors aims to provide customers with a comprehensive e-cargo mobility solution. The vehicle will be available with versatile cargo decks and will be accessible for purchase at all Tata Motors commercial vehicle dealerships nationwide.
Vinay Pathak, the Vice President and Business Head of Small Commercial Vehicles and Pick-ups at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, conveyed that their Ace EV customers had experienced an unparalleled journey over the preceding two years. He emphasised that this experience had been both profitable and sustainable. Pathak further stated that with the introduction of the Ace EV 1000, they were extending this experience to customers who were seeking solutions with improved operating economics across various sectors they served.
The Ace EV is powered by the EVOGEN powertrain, offering a 7-year battery warranty and a 5-year comprehensive maintenance package. Its 27kW (36hp) motor delivers 130 Nm of peak torque, ensuring exceptional pickup and grade-ability for effortless ascension even under fully loaded conditions.
