In partnership with IEEE and T-Hub, Silicon Labs has launched the Edge Intelligence Challenge, a nationwide competition designed to power India’s future through edge AI and IoT innovation.
The challenge invites startups, researchers, students, and tech enthusiasts to design cutting-edge IoT solutions powered by machine learning at the edge. Areas of focus include smart homes, healthcare wearables, agriculture, industrial IoT, and smart cities. More than 10 teams will be shortlisted, each receiving Rs 10,000, an edge-ML kit, and mentorship from experts.
From ideas to real impact
The selected teams will present their solutions to real-world challenges at a finale event, attended by leading figures from the tech world. Winners will receive prizes worth Rs 5 lakh.
“Silicon Labs has always been committed to solving everyday challenges through technology, and we believe Edge AI has the potential to transform industries and deliver meaningful impact,” said Manish Kothari, SVP – Software, Silicon Labs. “With this challenge, we want to empower innovators to experiment, collaborate, and create practical, scalable ML-driven IoT solutions.”
