BHEL sets up metal cutting plant in Bhopal
First industrial set-up for metal cutting in this capacity range
Recently, Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) opened a new metal cutting plant gas plant at Bhopal. A 1900 kg capacity plant, set up by the company, was inaugurated by Dr. A. R. Sihag, Secretary, Department of Heavy Industry (DHI), Government of India. Dr. Nalin Shinghal, Chairman and Managing Director, BHEL, Amit Varadan, Joint Secretary, DHI and D. K. Thakur, Executive Director, BHEL, Bhopal were also present on this occasion. Additionally, the ceremony was witnessed by other senior officers and employees of BHEL.
Significantly, this plant, installed at the Gas & Power Plant Division in the unit, is the first industrial set-up for metal cutting in this capacity range.
