Hunting Energy Services and Jindal SAW partner for cutting-edge premium connection technology

Hunting Energy Services has announced that it has entered into a strategic alliance with JINDAL SAW to bring in cutting-edge premium connections technology in India. Under the partnership between two leaders in their respective domain, Hunting Energy Services will share their patented premium connection technology with Jindal SAW, who in turn will manufacture top quality premium seamless casing and tubing using the technology.

Jim Johnson, CEO, Hunting PLC and Neeraj Kumar, group CEO & whole time director, Jindal SAW signed the dotted line to seal the partnership.

PR Jindal, chairman, Jindal SAW said that this alliance would be a step forward in the government of India’s Make in India initiative.

This will bring in a whole new cutting-edge range of premium seamless casing and tubing in the country. India’s demand for seamless pipe with premium connections has till now been covered through imports. Now with this partnership for manufacturing top quality seamless pipes in India, the nation can look at reduction in their imports.”

This partnership will result in the manufacture of finished seamless premium casing and tubing in India.

This will add value to and develop the local ancillary service industry as well,” he added.
