Keeping this as a priority, Honda is establishing Skill Enhancement Centres in key identified states across India. With two more centres in Maharashtra, we are committed to up-skill local youth to enhance their employability and help them build up brighter future for themselves.”

In order to bridge the gap between requirement and availability of trained manpower in the automotive sector (specially looking at the BSVI emission norms in 2020), Honda is setting up Skill Enhancement Centres across India. Currently 17 such centres have been set up at Rohtak & Gurugram (Haryana), Jaffarpur & Nandnagri (Delhi NCR), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Chennai & Madurai (Tamil Nadu), Meerut (Uttar Pradesh), Kolkata (West Bengal), Hyderabad (Telengana), Bhilai (Chhattisgarh), Pune, Nasik, Dhule & Palgadh (Maharashtra), Vizag (Andhra Pradesh) and Guwahati (Assam), benefiting over 1500 students so far.
