Polyhose and the Lubrizol Corporation inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to advance medical innovation in India. The goal of Lubrizol and Polyhose’s partnership is to establish a medical manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu.
The Memorandum of Understanding, which strengthens the two organisations’ long-standing collaboration, was signed in front of Tamil Nadu Industries Secretary V Arun Roy and Tamil Nadu Industries Minister Dr. TRB Rajaa. By increasing Lubrizol’s local medical tubing capacity fivefold, the facility will make life-saving medical tubing easily accessible in India and through export to markets worldwide.
The manufacturing of superior medical tubing will be utilised in cardiovascular and neurovascular applications, including balloon catheters and catheters for minimally invasive procedures.
