The Yomiuri daily reports that Nissan Motor Co. and Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan have agreed to form a joint venture. This new business will concentrate on offering services associated with autonomous driving and the use of batteries from electric vehicles as storage batteries.
According to an article in the Monday Yomiuri newspaper, Nissan and Mitsubishi of Japan want to establish a joint venture that would provide services on autonomous driving and energy storage batteries, particularly from electric cars.
As reported by Yomiuri, the new business is to be launched before March 2025 and would be wholly owned by both companies.
