Niryo launches Nate to simplify industrial automation

Nate combines robotic arms, AI, smart components, software, and tools into one scalable industrial system.

Nate combines robotic arms, AI, smart components, software, and tools into one scalable industrial system.

Niryo has introduced Nate, which is a new modular robotic platform designed to accelerate automation across industries. With Nate, companies of all sizes can integrate advanced robotics quickly, reducing costs and boosting efficiency, while benefiting from the expertise of Niryo, which has deployed 3,500 robots in over 70 countries.

A modular platform for industry

Nate combines robotic arms, AI modules, smart components, application software, and integration tools into a single, scalable ecosystem. The platform allows companies to configure solutions quickly and integrate them seamlessly.

Nate’s design focuses on accessibility, offering the right level of performance without unnecessary oversizing, helping manufacturers optimise costs, accelerate implementation, and achieve faster returns on investment.

First building block launch at SIDO 2025

Nate’s first component, the motorised actuators, will be previewed at SIDO Lyon 2025. These actuators are precise, robust, and intelligent, suitable for robotic arms, SCARA robots, humanoid robots, industrial automation, and R&D applications.

Available from September 2025, they are modular and competitively priced, providing the foundation for further components in the Nate product line.

Supporting European industrial sovereignty

Marc-Henri Frouin, Niryo Founder and CEO, said: “We are proud to reveal this new technology platform, the result of several years of work. With Nate, we want to remove the traditional barriers to industrial automation and offer cutting-edge technology that is simple and quick to deploy.”

Designed and manufactured in France with support from the France 2030 investment plan, Nate aims to strengthen local production, improve competitiveness, and enhance industrial expertise across Europe. The first Nate robotic arm will be available from March 2026, marking the start of this new generation of industrial robotics.
