Nibav Home Lifts has opened its fifth and largest manufacturing facility in Chennai’s SIPCOT, Irungatukottai. Spanning 1,00,000 sq ft, this state-of-the-art facility doubles the company’s production capacity from 7,500 to 15,000 units annually, with 7,500 units dedicated to manufacturing the advanced Nibav Series 4 home elevators.
This expansion not only addresses the growing demand for home lifts across 12 countries but also creates 450 new job opportunities in the region. The facility features advanced machinery, including laser-cutting tools, CNC systems, robotic technologies, and a test tower. It also houses a dedicated R&D lab to enhance the design and technology of Nibav’s air-driven lifts.
Aligned with its sustainability goals, the facility incorporates eco-friendly practices, reducing resource waste and optimising energy use. Commenting on the milestone, CEO and Founder Vimal Babu expressed pride in setting a new benchmark for the home elevator industry, emphasising the company’s commitment to innovation, quality, and global expansion.
