NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) which is a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Rajasthan during the Rising Rajasthan Investor Meet held in New Delhi.
The agreement aims to facilitate the development of 25 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy projects across the state.
The MoU was signed by K S Sundaram, Director (Projects) at NGEL, and Alok, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary (Energy) of Rajasthan, in the presence of the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
Senior officials from both NGEL and the Government of Rajasthan attended the ceremony. It underscores the significance of this partnership in advancing renewable energy initiatives in the region.
This collaboration is expected to enhance Rajasthan’s renewable energy capacity. It is also contributing to the state’s sustainable development goals and aligning with national efforts to transition towards cleaner energy sources.
