Mahindra Truck and Bus Division (MTBD), a part of the Mahindra Group, has launched a mileage guarantee for its entire range of BS6 OBD II compliant products such as BLAZO X, FURIO, OPTIMO and JAYO series of trucks.
The programme, named ‘Get More Mileage or Give the Truck Back,’ is designed to address the concerns arising from the fluctuating gas prices and shifting rules and requirements.
The new range includes a 7.2L mPower Engine (HCVs) and mDi Tech Engine (ILCV) with FuelSmart Technology and Mild EGR that make less use of Ad Blue and can cover more miles. Also, the trucks have iMAXX Telematics for fleet management, which is a real-time situation.
The Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd’s President of Trucks, Buses, CE, Aerospace, and Defence Businesses, Vinod Sahay, mentioned that this guarantee demonstrates Mahindra’s capability to utilise technology to deliver high-quality products and services for its customers.
Jalaj Gupta, Business Head – Commercial Vehicles, pointed out that their technology made progress that resulted in better efficiency and fluidity which positively impacted transporters’ profitability despite high fuel prices.
The mileage promise, which is summed up in the slogan “Zyada Mileage Nahin toh Truck Wapas,” is based on a lot of testing of fluid efficiency and is meant to give customers the best value possible.
