Lindström Group strengthens UK presence with acquisition of Micronclean’s industrial workwear business

This move integrates Micronclean’s customers and team, strengthening Lindström’s UK operations and global growth.

Lindström Group has acquired Micronclean’s industrial workwear business in the UK. This acquisition strengthens Lindström’s presence in the UK, especially in the heavy and food industry sectors.

The deal involves Lindström taking over Micronclean’s customer contracts and textile assets. It also includes Micronclean’s on-site service team joining Lindström. This move follows Micronclean’s decision to close its Grantham facility, where it served over 180 customers in these industries. Lindström will now integrate these customers into its existing operations in the UK to ensure continued service.

Micronclean is a family-owned business that provides workwear and cleanroom services in the UK and India, with over 400 employees. Lindström, which has operated in the UK since 2001, serves over 4,400 customers with its workwear and industrial wipers, supported by service centres in Bedford, Bradford, Manchester, and other locations.

Ian Muir, Managing Director of Lindström Ltd has mentioned that Micronclean’s customer-focused values align with Lindström’s approach to quality service. Jayant Roy, Managing Director of Lindström India, noted that the acquisition reflects the company’s commitment to growing globally while maintaining high service standards.
