Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd (KOEL) has presented its cutting-edge Kirloskar Industrial brand at BAUMA 2024, highlighting its commitment to innovation in key industrial sectors like construction, mining, agriculture, and defence. The Kirloskar Industrial range includes products like engines, power packs, propulsion systems, and advanced digital solutions, offering tailored technologies for industries such as railways, firefighting, and marine.
Gauri Kirloskar, Managing Director of KOEL, mentioned the brand’s dedication to sustainability and advanced engineering. She highlighted the CEV BS-V engine as a key example of their efforts to meet global sustainability goals while delivering superior performance in construction applications.
The showcased innovations included the first-ever BS-V engines for various construction machines like backhoes, loaders, and cranes. Other notable products included India’s first CNG-powered air-cooled engine and an 1100 HP engine for mining applications. Kirloskar Industrial also presented hybrid and hydrogen-fueled internal combustion engines, showcasing their forward-thinking technologies.
The newly launched CEV BS-V engines provide improved fuel efficiency, easier maintenance, and reduced emissions, surpassing BS-IV standards. These engines feature a hybrid governing system for better load response and are designed for heavy-duty applications. They have been tested in challenging environments and offer reliable, high-performance solutions.
