Integrals Power distributes LFP & LMFP battery materials to global automotive and energy sector customers

Integrals Power focuses on domestic manufacturing to boost the UK battery industry and clean energy solutions.

Integrals Power has started distributing samples of its Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) and Lithium Manganese Iron Phosphate (LMFP) cathode materials to customers in the automotive and energy storage sectors worldwide, including leading vehicle manufacturers and battery makers. These materials, which are crucial for electric vehicle (EV) batteries and energy storage systems, were produced at Integrals Power’s new UK pilot plant, capable of manufacturing 20 tonnes of LFP material annually.

The LFP and LMFP samples, made from high-purity raw materials, highlight the company’s commitment to advancing domestic manufacturing and sustainability. LFP is gaining popularity for its safety, long cycle life, and low-temperature performance, while LMFP’s addition of manganese improves energy density by 20 per cent, enhancing performance for EVs without relying on critical minerals.

With this move, Integrals Power aims to contribute to the growth of the UK battery industry and reduce dependence on China for key battery components. The company’s focus on high-quality, sustainable cathode materials positions it as a key player in the global green energy transition, supporting the rise in demand for EVs and energy storage systems.
