Inox Solar to invest Rs 1,500 crore for 2.5 GW solar cell manufacturing

Inox Solar aims to manufacture 2.5 GW of solar cells and 5 GW of solar modules by 2026 with a capital expenditure of Rs 1,500 crore. Through its group firm, Inox Renewable Solutions (previously Resco Global Wind Services), it will also offer comprehensive EPC solutions, such as power evacuation and land acquisition. It will also provide post-commissioning O&M services via Inox Green Energy Services, another group subsidiary.

It is anticipated that Inox Solar’s first 1.2 GW solar module production facility in Gujarat would be ready to produce TopCon modules by March 2025. Along with positioning itself in the third-party commercial and industrial (C&I) market, Inox Solar will complement Inox Wind to provide clients complete hybrid (wind and solar) renewable energy solutions.
