The Indian Battery Manufacturers Association (IBMA) has elected Preeti Bajaj as its new President, succeeding Arun Mittal of Exide Industries Ltd. IBMA also elected Rajesh Jindal, President & Chief Marketing Officer, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Ltd. , as the new Vice President of IBMA.
As the newly appointed President of IBMA Preeti Bajaj has vowed to take the organisation forward to its fold of a sustainable, innovative and globally competitive battery manufacturing sector in India.
Bajaj wants to lead change, foster innovation, and enhance India’s position in the global solar energy industry with regard to responsible practices. Focusing on the role of the energy sector she described the moment as strategic and stated her privilege to serve as a member and her readiness to work with fellow members for the improvement of the sector domestically and globally.
