Hindalco Industries Ltd. has been chosen to become the newest member of the International Copper Association (ICA). Hindalco Industries Ltd., has been in business since 1958 and leads the copper and aluminium industries. It produces continuous cast copper rods and copper cathodes for both India and the rest of the globe. Its cutting-edge copper smelter, one of Asia’s biggest single-location bespoke smelters, is dedicated to sustainable expansion as India’s top copper producer.
Hindalco Industries’ CEO of Copper Business, Rohit Pathak, said the company is thrilled to be joining ICA and working with the global copper community to build the value chain for this essential metal for the global net zero transition.
Juan Ignacio Díaz, president of ICA, further stated that the organisation is thrilled to have Hindalco Industries join it as a major participant in the global industry and to share their objective for advancing human development in the future.
ICA is the global spokesperson for copper, offering both local knowledge and a global reach.
