Hexagon Manufacturing and SimYog collaborate to simplify EMI/EMC testing

Hexagon will help SimYog grow in India through its sales network and marketing ecosystem.

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence India has partnered with Simyog Technology to offer its Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) simulation to customers in India. EMI and EMC are critical factors in compliance failures for electronic/electrical hardware, leading to revenue loss and increased Bill-of-Materials (BoM).

SimYog’s flagship product, Compliance-scope (CompScope), is the world’s first “Virtual EMI/EMC laboratory” for predicting compliance tests. Users can predict EMC performance at an early design stage, diagnosing and fixing design problems, saving significant time-to-market and BoM costs. SimYog’s product line-up includes SEM-Scope and MAX-Scope, which will help engineers optimise their designs and achieve superior performance. Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence will help SimYog expand its footprint in India by leveraging its extensive sales network and creating a marketing ecosystem. This will help customers be compliant in this critical need and mitigate risks arising from EMI/EMC.

SimYog products are already in use at several top 10 semiconductor, Tier-1, OEM and Defence companies, said Sridhar Dharmarajan, Executive Vice President & Managing Director, Hexagon. According to  Dipanjan Gope, Chief Executive Officer, Simyog, Hexagon’s reputation for excellence and their industry-leading products align perfectly with Simyog’s mission to enable agile for hardware design and provide cutting-edge Multiphysics solutions to the electronics and automotive industries.
