A major advancement in energy-efficient home technology has been made with the introduction of the first-ever Made in India Heat Pump Water Heater by renowned Fast-Moving Electrical Goods (FMEG) manufacturer Havells India Limited. This state-of-the-art Havells invention, designed to solve issues with hot water availability and energy consumption, claims to save up to 75 per cent on energy costs and set new standards for water heating.
Compared to traditional water heaters, the Havells Heat Pump uses only 25 per cent of the energy and provides a seamless bathing experience. Vice President of Havells India Avneet Singh Gambhir stressed the company’s dedication to developing cutting-edge solutions that have a positive influence on customers’ lives as well as the environment.
This ground-breaking heat pump can produce up to 129 litres of water and guarantees continuous access to hot water at temperatures as high as 75°C. The most efficient way to save electricity is to set the temperature to 55°C in eco-mode. The revolutionary micro-channel heat exchanger design improves energy efficiency, while the state-of-the-art compressor guarantees great efficiency and minimal noise. The wire controller with an easy-to-use operation screen makes installation simple, and the digital controller makes temperature and timer settings simple.
The water heater’s key characteristics include a heavy-duty magnesium anode rod for rust and corrosion protection, a multi-function safety valve to prevent pressure build-up, a high operating pressure tolerance, and a Fernglas-coated container appropriate for hard water locations. The 300-litre Made in India model has three warranties: two years for full coverage, five years for the inner container, and seven years for the compressor.
