Havells India invests Rs 60 crore to expand AC production

The production enhancing investment will be funded through internal accruals.

Havells India is set to significantly boost its air-conditioner production under the ‘Lloyd’ brand to meet rising demand. The Ghiloth facility in Rajasthan will see its capacity increased from 9 lakh to 15 lakh units per annum with an investment of Rs 50-60 crore. Similarly, the Sricity plant’s capacity will expand from 11.2 lakh to 15 lakh units annually.

These enhancements will be funded through internal accruals and are expected to complete by Q4/FY25. This expansion comes as India faces a severe heatwave, driving unprecedented demand for cooling products. Havells’ recent launches, including the Lloyd Stellar & Stylus AC range, Novante fully automatic washing machines, and new 85-inch and 100-inch Google QLED TVs, highlight its commitment to innovation and growth.
