GreenLine Mobility Solutions Ltd has teamed up with Exide Industries to integrate eco-friendly LNG-powered trucks into Exide’s logistics network. This collaboration results in a major milestone in Exide’s sustainability journey, reducing its environmental impact while ensuring efficient transportation.
Exide is also taking a significant step toward sustainability by adopting GreenLine’s LNG-powered fleet. These advanced trucks provide a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative to diesel-powered vehicles. With a range of up to 1,200 km per tank, they’re ideal for long-haul logistics, helping Exide cut down on emissions while maintaining performance.
Optimising supply chains and reducing emissions
GreenLine’s LNG-powered fleet is equipped with real-time vehicle monitoring, predictive analytics, and enhanced safety features. By integrating these trucks, Exide not only optimises its supply chain but also helps lower Scope 3 emissions, which come from logistics operations. This partnership supports Exide’s broader environmental goals, marking an essential move towards a greener future.
Anand Mimani, CEO of GreenLine, stated, “Partnering with Exide is a pivotal moment in transforming logistics for the battery sector. Our LNG fleet helps Exide reduce Scope 3 emissions, aligning with their sustainability goals.”
Exide’s MD & CEO, Avik Roy, stated, “Sustainability is a key focus for Exide, and adopting LNG trucks in our logistics network is a vital step forward.”
GreenLine’s future growth
GreenLine, already operating 500 LNG trucks, plans to expand its fleet by 1,000 trucks by 2025 to meet the growing demand for eco-friendly logistics solutions.
