CyberProof acquires Interpres Security to strengthen threat exposure management

CyberProof will provide clients with a simplified, risk-prioritised picture of their exposure and defenses against major threat actors.

CyberProof Inc. recently acquired Interpres Security, a Gartner-recognised provider of Automated Security Control Assessments (ASCA) and Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM). The acquisition enhances CyberProof’s ability to deliver measurable, risk mitigated managed security services. CyberProof will provide clients with a simplified, risk-prioritised picture of their exposure and defenses against major threat actors who target their industries, geographies, technologies, and more by integrating Interpres.

Based in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Interpres Security has earned a reputation in the cybersecurity domain while leading the approach to Automated Security Control Assessment (ASCA). The distinction highlights Interpres’ new-age technology and the smart thinking that augment CyberProof’s capability and propel its liberation of security service delivery.

Interpres stands out as the only platform offering a comprehensive solution that begins with defining threat actors and active threat campaigns, identifying exposure and defensive gaps, and providing decision support through risk prioritisation and actionable recommendations. CyberProof is the first and only managed security service provider to offer a complete continuous threat exposure management capability, including continuous optimisation of their security solutions.

Interpres Security’s CEO and co-founder, Nick Lantuh, said that the cooperation with CyberProof will contribute to the CTEM and ASCA products expansion, targeting the right audience. The updated products of CyberProof, backed by Interpres Security technology, will help address the bundled issues of cybersecurity as organisations further embrace digital change and face new threats.
