BorgWarner has answered at IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich, where it showcased a wide range of advanced propulsion and thermal management technologies designed to boost performance, efficiency, and flexibility for the future of mobility.
Expanding electrification and range
BorgWarner introduced its new range extender module, which pairs with an internal combustion engine to increase the driving range of electric vehicles without compromising emissions. The company also displayed its latest inverters and power electronics, designed with higher power density and improved thermal performance.

Intelligent torque and drivetrain control
The company also showcased its eTorque Management Systems (eTMS) product line. These active systems are designed to improve vehicle safety, handling, and efficiency. Integrated electronics and software allow precise control of torque, with features like slip control and decoupling of drive modules.

Advanced thermal management
The company presented a suite of next-generation thermal solutions to maintain safe and efficient operating temperatures. This includes high-voltage heaters, integrated thermal modules, eCoolers, and high-voltage eFans.
Together, these ensure that battery systems, power electronics, and vehicle cabins remain energy-efficient and reliable across electric, hybrid, and combustion platforms.
