Bajaj Auto drives ahead with 5% sales surge to 3.58 Lakh units in June

Despite a decline in domestic sales, exports saw a 1% rise, reaching 1,42,026 units.

Bajaj Auto also reported a strong financial performance for the July-September quarter, with a 21% year-over-year increase in profit after tax, reaching Rs 2,216 crore. Revenue surged by 22% to Rs 13,127 crore, crossing the Rs 13,000 crore mark for the first time.

The latest financial results for Bajaj Auto show a YoY rise of 5 per cent in total vehicle wholesales including exports of 35,8477 units in the month of June 2024. 

The Pune-based automaker had sold 3,40,981 two-wheelers and commercial vehicles in June 2023, as per it stated earlier. Domestic sales, including commercial vehicles, were up by 8 per cent at 2,16,451 units for the last month as compared to 1,99,983 units for the corresponding period of the previous year. 

While the domestic sales declined, the overall exports rose by 1 per cent, with 1,42,026 units exported in June compared to 1,40,998 vehicles exported in the previous year.
