Financial boost for KTM’s growth
To support KTM’s ongoing changes, BAIHBV secured an €800 million debt funding package. This funding will help KTM with its debt restructuring, which has court approval in Austria, and provide cash needed to stabilise its operations. So far, €200 million has been injected, and the remaining €600 million is being released now.
A move towards global leadership
This takeover reflects Bajaj Auto’s commitment to strengthening its position worldwide. By owning a bigger share of KTM, Bajaj is preparing to compete more aggressively in the premium motorcycle market and speed ahead in global growth.
