Asahi Kasei wins 2025 TSMC performance award
Asahi Kasei received the 2025 TSMC Excellent Performance Award for “Excellent Technology Development and Production Support” in Advanced Packaging materials. The recognition was presented at the 2025 Supply Chain Management Forum, organised by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co, Ltd (TSMC) recently.
The award recognises suppliers that have delivered outstanding innovation and reliable production support in advanced packaging materials over the past year.
PIMEL™ recognised for advanced packaging innovation
The award specifically acknowledges Asahi Kasei’s PIMEL™ photosensitive dielectric, a key material used in advanced semiconductor packaging. PIMEL™ supports high-performance and compact chip designs, which are increasingly essential for next-generation semiconductors.
TSMC’s recognition highlights the material’s role in meeting the growing technical demands of advanced packaging, particularly as the semiconductor industry evolves to support high-performance computing and artificial intelligence applications.
