The Adani Group and Google have announced a new collaboration to boost sustainability efforts and expand clean energy in India.
Adani will supply renewable power from a solar-wind hybrid project at Khavda, Gujarat, located within the world’s largest renewable energy plant. The project is set to begin commercial operations in the third quarter of 2025.
Adani with its strong track record in delivering large-scale renewable energy projects, will provide customised clean energy solutions to commercial and industrial (C&I) customers, helping reduce their carbon footprint.
The partnership aligns with Adani’s goal to focus on the merchant and C&I segments, aiding in decarbonising industries.
For Google, this collaboration advances its 24/7 carbon-free energy initiative, ensuring that its cloud services and operations in India are powered by renewable energy.
This partnership reflects the companies’ shared commitment to sustainability and clean energy growth in the region.
